1. Who can use tucck
You must be 18 or older and able to enter a binding contract under Indian law. If you use tucck for an organisation, you confirm you may accept these terms for it.
2. What tucck is
tucck saves links, notes, screenshots, files and voice notes from your phone, and helps you organise and find them again.
- Free works on one phone. Your saves stay on that phone and you don’t need an account.
- Starter is a paid subscription that adds backup to your account (20 GB of room), sync across up to 2 phones, tucck web, and more tucck locks.
We keep improving tucck, so features may change. If we remove something you pay for, we’ll tell you in advance.
3. Your account
Use an email address you control, and keep your phone and paired browsers secure: anyone with your unlocked phone or a paired browser can see your saves. You can see and sign out every device from Account → Devices. Tell us at support@tucck.app if you think someone else has accessed your account.
4. Your content is yours
You own what you save. You give us permission to store, copy and process it only as needed to run tucck for you: syncing, search, thumbnails, reading the text in PDFs, and exports. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account, apart from the short time our backups take to roll over.
We don’t sell your content, show ads, or use it to train AI. Only you can see it; we look at it only if you ask us to (for example to fix a problem) or if the law requires it.
You’re responsible for having the right to save what you save. Keep your own copies of anything important; Account → Export all data gives you everything, any time.
5. Fair use
Please don’t use tucck to:
- store or share anything illegal, including child sexual abuse material;
- infringe anyone’s copyright or other rights;
- upload malware, or try to break, overload or get around tucck’s security or limits;
- access another person’s account, or copy, resell or reverse-engineer tucck, except as the law allows.
Files can be up to 250 MB each. If you break these rules, or the law requires it, we may remove content or suspend your account. Where we can, we’ll tell you why and give you a chance to export your data first.
6. Starter, payments and refunds
- Starter is sold through Google Play, which bills you and handles payment. The price is shown in the app, in your currency, before you buy.
- It renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. Cancel any time in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions; Starter then lasts until the end of the period you paid for.
- Refunds follow Google Play’s refund policies, and nothing here limits your rights under India’s Consumer Protection Act, 2019. If something went wrong with Starter itself, write to support@tucck.app.
- If the price changes, Google Play tells you before the new price applies.
- When Starter ends, sync and tucck web stop. Your saves stay on your phone, and what’s already on our servers stays in your account until you delete it or the account.
7. AI with your own key
AI features use a key you get from an AI provider (Anthropic, OpenAI or Google). Your use of that key is between you and the provider: their terms apply, and they charge you for what you use. AI can be wrong; check anything important, such as a date it suggests for a task, before relying on it.
8. Other services
tucck works with services run by others, such as Google Play and the websites you save links to. We aren’t responsible for those services or their content, and their own terms apply.
9. Ending your use
You can stop using tucck at any time and delete your account from Account → Delete account. After 30 days your account and everything in it are erased; until then you can change your mind. Cancelling Starter is separate and happens in Google Play. We may close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms, as described under Fair use.
10. No guarantees
We work hard to keep tucck available and your data safe, but tucck is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we don’t promise it will always be available, error-free, or that nothing will ever be lost.
11. Limits on liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost data you could have exported, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid for Starter in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as tucck changes. We’ll change the effective date above, and for changes that matter we’ll tell you in the app or by email before they apply. If you keep using tucck after that, the new terms apply; if you don’t agree, you can stop and delete your account.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. If there’s a problem, please write to us first at support@tucck.app; most things can be fixed quickly. Otherwise, disputes go to the courts of competent jurisdiction in India.
